What We've Been Building
SnarkSide began as an R&D experiment in late 2022 — a multi-disciplinary effort between ZK cryptographers, HFT veterans, and DeFi protocol architects. Our thesis was simple but contrarian: transparent perps are broken. Privacy is not a feature — it's a requirement. We didn't wait for market consensus. We started prototyping zero-knowledge position accounting, MPC-based trade intent matching, and shadow UTXO vaults for leveraged positions. When CZ tweeted that vision in May 2024, we knew we weren't alone anymore.
